Folio, 240pp,b&w frontis and b&w and color illus throughout. Gray cloth covers with title in silver on spine. Pictorial dj with title in silver and white on front cover and in white on a dark brown ground on spine. Dj is rubbed at top and base of spine and slightly chipped at top edge of back cover. Internally very good; like new. Follows the artist from his birth in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1892, through the 1980's. Beautiful color plates include costume design, magazine covers (Harper's Bazar), sculpture, vases, mirrors, medallions, jewelry, labels, bottles, playing cards, watches.
