Large 8vo, lxiii, 1134 pp, two Appendices; First Appendix: x, 75pp. Second Appendix: xi, 114pp. Illustrated with over 1400 figures. One quarter dark brown leather and cloth binding, with title in gilt on spine (A System of Mineralogy). Spine is gently rubbed, with gilt of title only slightly dimmed. Internally, very light scattered fox spotting, primarily to end papers. Small owner bookplate inside front cover.
