One quarter dark brown leather and cloth binding, with title in gilt on spine (A System of Mineralogy). Spine is gently rubbed, with gilt of title only slightly dimmed. Internally, very light scattered fox spotting, primarily to end papers. Small owner bookplate inside front cover.
