This is the first American edition, one of 5,000, which precedes the British edition. 8vo, viii, 248pp. Medium blue cloth covers with gilt title at spine. Top and base of spine very gently rubbed. Pictorial dj with title in dark red on off white ground above illustration of flower bouquet; dark red title at off white spine. Dj is toned at edges, and sunned at spine; small chips at top of dj spine. Internally, an original receipt from Dutton's is loosely inserted at page 29, with a price of $2.25 for the Woolf. This has caused some toning to the page.
