Description

The "Zoila" was a 982 ton bark built in 1873 in Cape St. Ignace, Canada. Her master was a man named Peregrine. Oddly, she is advertised as "Succeeding the Barque 'Wylo'." Printed for Henry W. Peabody & Co's Australian Line. The agents in Melbourne are Messrs. Newell & Co. Color lithograph, printed in black, red gold & purple, measuring 3 7/8 x 6 5/8". There are some old glue marks on the verso, otherwise fine condition.
