Rede, Geraldine. Geraldine Rede Made this Little Book of Australian Trees. 239 Collins St. Melbourne 1909. 12 woodblock illustrations, some with color of eucalyptus, honeysuckle, ti tree, cherry, she oak, wattle. Sml. 8vo, 5 1/4 7 1/2", pictorial paper wrappers with silk ties, pages folded accordion style. Covers little dusty and rubbed o/w vgc. These Japanese style wood block prints delicately suggest the essence of Australian trees & native flora. The connection is clear between this work and Rede's collaboration with Violet Teague on "Nightfall in the Ti Tree", which was designed, illustrated, printed and hand-bound by the two women. Simply charming.

We charge shipping at cost.  Most items sent overseas by airmail under 4lbs will cost only $9.50 via global air priority, which is quick & economical.

M-Bag direct sack surface costs only $11.55 for 11 lbs to Australia, and around $40 by air.
