Volumes II and III only; lacks Volume I, but follows Captain Cook's official account format which is complete in Vols II and III (with Vol I being Wallis' voyage to Tahiti). These volumes are desirable due to the variant composition of the plates. Volume II includes Lieutenant Cook's First and Second Voyages, and Volume III Captain Cook's Third Voyage. Some engravings are original views while others are after the Webber originals.

16mo, Vol II: 403 pp, ads (1); Vol III: 351 pp, Directions to the binder for placing the cuts, ads (4). Has a secondary title page denoting the Second Voyage within the text. Missing 3 of the 20 plates, but includes the folding 'Death of Captain James Cook' (p324). Lacks the portrait of Cook, inhabitants of Otaheite, & Cascade Cove NZ . Contemporary calf covers with gilt title at red spine labels (Wilson's Voyages). Rubbed at edges all hinges cracked but holding. Internally, owner signatures at ffep, o/w very good.
