The author stated, "It has often been asserted that the Hauraki Peninsula is a goldfield from one end to the other, and the numerous discoveries of the last few years would certainly seem to justify this conclusion" (Park, James. First volume. 8vo, 137 pp. In the orginal printed paper wrappers, de-accessed from by the Franklin Institute Library, with bookplate inside front wrapper, perforated stamp at title page, library number on front wrapper. Wrappers slightly dusty; text and plates bright and clean. Good + overall. Item #26116
