Back cover is illustrated with a fox. Title on spine is off white on black ground. Spine is very lightly rubbed at base. Internally very clean. This volume of poetry by England's Poet Laureate is a presentation copy, signed by the author and dated May the 8th, 1963. The inscription also includes, copied out in the author's hand, the last four lines of Reynard the Fox, with an additional explanation, as follows, "(Written some six or seven miles from the beech wood described above, at Burcote on Thames.)."
