Attractive advertising cards for the meat extract spread manufactured by Liebig, who widely distributed these attractive color lithographed cards as advertising, with captions describing the picture and advertising info. The New Guinea cards are largely focused on natives & ethnographic art. Each card shows natives, animals, scenery & habitations. The island groups include the Solomon Islands, Port Adam; Bismarck archipelago, New Pomeranie; Ganville in the english part of NG; Port Frederick William; Port Moresby, a village in stilts in western NG.
