Color pictorial paper boards with yellow illustration on white ground, with artist's signature in black at base of front cover. Title in black typeface on white spine. Original glassine is missing a strip at the center of the front and back covers. In a tan cardboard slipcase which is dusty and rubbed at corners.

Vertes celebrated Parisian life of the 1920's in his many drawings and lithographs of women, street scenes, and portraits of circus and cabaret acts.
Large 4to, 150pp, color and b&w illus throughout, with some b&w illus on colored paper, on grand velin blanc. Small bump at corner of lithograph. In the publisher's wax paper wrapper, mostly intact, and slip box. Near fine in wraps. Item #11543
