George William Russell (1867 – 1935) Irish nationalist, writer, poet and editor who wrote under the pseudonym AE, makes a plea for mankind to return to a more innocent stage, on the eve of the first world war: "To childhood once again. We must regain the lost state. But it is to the giant and spiritual childhood of the young immortals we must return... " Small unbound pamphlet in brown paper wrappers, 24pp. One of a limited edition of 1,000 copies. Black title on front cover. Remnants of old repairs to spine with sticky tape.
