London: W. Bowyer, C. Griffin, and Sam Keble, 1710. Ninth edition revised and corrected. Hardcover. Folio, b&w frontis and title page with red rules, (ix), 398pp, ads (ii), and two Indices. Full brown calf original binding with front and rear boards with rectangular decorated panels with speckling and blind tooled ornaments and gilt monogram (R) at center of panel. Spine in 7 compartments with raised bands, original gilt tooled, red and gilt title label laid down on re-back. Covers slightly rubbed at edges and gently bumped at corners. Spine rubbed at top and base and one half inch chip at base of spine. Front cover held in place by the raised band ties. Small cracks at speckled panel, edge of back cover. Internally, very good with pages lightly toned, and slightly soiled at right hand edges of rear pages. Last page of volume, at Index, is chipped at right hand edge, but does not affect text. Owner bookplate with coat of arms, inside front cover, Fulwar Craven, Breckhampton Park. Small signature at top of title page "Sir (illegible) Raymond, Bart" Very good. Item #12178
