Account of George Howe (1769-1821), transported to Sydney, who became the first government printer and issued the first book printed in Australia in 1802.

4to, 100pp, tipped in plates, uncut pages. Gray cloth with paper title label at front cover. Fine in dj, with small perforation at dj spine, dj spine darkened. In the original box, dusty, missing the bottom panel. Book in very good+ condition. Very good overall. Item #12415
