The author's travel destinations include Danemora Iron Mines, the "Seven Churches", Plains of Troy, Palmyra, Jerusalem, Petra, Seringapatam, Surat, Cashmere, Peshawur, the Khyber Pass to Afghanistan, Java, China and Mauritius.
