Late 19th century. A charming naive child's drawing of her impression of Buffalo Bill's show in the town of Fairfield, Iowa. The procession of 5 rows of horses has "Indians" in full headdress riding them, and carrying tall staffs with pennants flying. There is a rather good vignette portrait of Mr. Cody in the top right corner. Pencil drawing with colored pencil, 4.5 x 8", mounted & framed in a brown wooden frame with burl veneer. Charming depiction. The provenance comes from the previous owner, who bought it in Iowa with other items by Miss Biorkgren. Item #14783
