Detailed original outline color copper engraved map of Moravia (in central Europe, one of the former Czech lands) divided into six areas, with Bohemia to the west and Silesia to the east. Engraved by Condet; from De L'Isle's 'Atlas Nouveau, Contenant Toutes Les Parties Du Monde, Ou sont exactement Remarquées les Empires, Monarchies, Royaumes, Etats, Republiques &c'. Decorative title cartouche at upper left with allegorical figures including a young Bacchus with wine goblet in hand, and a wild boar hunting scene. Legend cartouche at lower right. Each area highlighted with outline color, and major cities highlighted in red. Image size: 25 x 19 1/4". Paper size: 25 1/4 x 20 3/4". Period ink notation ('55.A') in top margin.
