1912. Full length chromolithographic portrait of the famous batsman, published August 7th, 1912. John (Jack) Hobbs was an English professional cricketer who played for Surrey (1905 - 1934). He also represented England in 61 Test matches (1908 - 1930) and is thought to be the greatest opening batsman in cricket history.
