Signed letter from Charles Baudin (1792 - 1854), French Admiral to a Monsieur L. Boucher, in which Baudin wonders if his friend Boucher has received his letter concerning his return to Paris, and whether he can visit Boucher at rue Beaubourg No. 272. Written from Place Des Victoires, No. 07, and dated "19 vendemiaire an 13", according to the French Republican calendar system of dating. Charles Baudin was an admiral who served France in the 1800s, from the First Empire and Emperor Napoleon I, eventually becoming the commander in chief of France's Mediterranean fleet. Folded measures 4 1/2 x 8". With a postal stamp "an 13"; lower left corner torn, o/w very good. Item #16682
