Passenger list for the steamship in which Sarah Bernhardt had sailed four months earlier, on her return from Australia (Sydney Morning Herald of Wednesday, August 12, 1891: 'The Departure of Mdme. Sarah Bernhardt'). The Mariposa was an iron ship built in 1883. Card printed in black on pink card stock, with engraving of the Mariposa at the top, under sail. With the officers of the ship listed on the front, including H. M. Hayward, Commander, F. W. Hart, Chief Officer; others listed through the 3rd Asst Engineer.
