Postcard. Five postcards with views of the Quillcote, the summer home in Hollis, Maine of Kate Douglas Wiggin (1856–1923), the author of Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm. Two show the exterior and the others are of the north wall of the Painted Room, the Painted Chamber and the Seven-Doored Sitting Room. Wiggin relocated from New York City to Maine in 1889 after the death of her husband. Each approx 3 1/2 by 5 inches. Item #17227
