A remarkable photographic record of the construction and the people involved in the building of the ARR., with a mainline over 470 miles long, which extends from Seward and Whittier to Fairbanks (passing through Anchorage), from there to Eielson Air Force Base and Fort Wainwright. Some of the photographers here include Sydney Laurence, P. S. Hunt, H. G. Kaiser, George L. Johnson, Maurice L. Sharp, Bill Logeman, Schallerer, McCann, Robert S. Bragaw, Evans, Thomas Riggs and Denny Hewitt.
