Sydney: 1919. A fold out subdivision prospectus pamphlet for Clontarf Harbour Sydney. With a lovely color lithographic illustration on the cover of two women getting in to a small sailboat, signed Harry J. Weston. Internally is a map printed in red showing Beatrice Street as the border, with Gordon Street, Cliff Road, Peronne Avenue, Amiens Road, Allenby Street and Monash Crescent as the main thoroughfares. No doubt honoring Australia's WWI heroes.
Photographs include: Panorama of Clontarf Estate showing the proximity of the Spit; Beach, Clontarf, The Bather's Paradise; Old Jetty, Clontarf; and A Picturesque Corner. With a smaller map printed in blue, titled 'Local Sketch', showing Clontarf Estate in relation to the city and harbour, and showing tram lines. Advertisement with blue toned photographs. 5 X 7 1/2" pamphlet that opens out to 20 x 14 3/4" . Not found in Trove. Very good condition. Item #18724
