Brochure in English for the recently inaugurated Japan-China Rapid Express Service on the "Nagasaki Maru" and the "Shanghai Maru", part of the NYK Line, or Nippon Yusen Kaisha, a steamship company established in 1885. The brochure opened is 7 panels wide, with a color map on the verso showing the route from Kobe through the Inland Sea, to Nagasaki and Shanghai. With map titles in Chinese, Japanese and English. Reverse side with four panels of text, 5 b&w photographs of picturesque sites, and a price chart for the two steamship liners. Front panel with color illustration of a steamship liner crossing the Inland Sea. Very slightly wrinkled at front panel, otherwise very good condition. 3 3/4 x 7 1/2".
