Signed by Genthe and Genthe's associate Dorothy Wilcox Newmeyer. Tall 8vo, 50 poems with author's introduction and foreword by Edward Chalmers Werner. Werner describes, "...the purpose of the collection is to give pleasure and demonstrate the universality of the Chinese soul... poems are classed not by dynasty but in groups according to the poet's mood..."
