An ode to celebrate the end of the Boer War, by Robert Seymour Bridges (1844 - 1930) who was the British poet laureate from 1913 to 1930. With a reference to Australians who fought: "Came too the new world's hardy Canadians, And from remote Australia champions Like huntsmen..." (p3). Limited edition of approximately 100 copies. Madan #55. This was the last regular issue of the Press. The month after he issued this, Daniel was elected Provost at Oxford. 4to, [7]pp. Pale green paper wrappers, original? Unopened & uncut.
