Morse dated 1828) and frontispiece portrait of Cook, ix (blank), (11), 12-205pp, 9 full page wood engravings (&) engraved title & frontispiece "Death of Cook", 209pp, 9 full page wood engravings. Full green leather with gilt decorated spine, rubbed at leading edges, text a bit foxed. Beddie 106. The first American printed collected voyages of Cook was published in Boston in 1797 (Beddie 58); New York in 1814 (Beddie 82). A pleasant copy overall. Item #19696
