Sydney: 1941. Dated Thursday March 20th, 1941. The luncheon was held for a three day good will visit by American battleships including: Heavy cruisers Chicago (Rear Admiral John H. Newton, Commander Cruisers Scouting Force) and Portland; and the destroyers Clark, Conyngham, Reid, Cassin and Downes.

With toasts offered to the King, the President of the United States of America, and Guests. The Chairman of the luncheon was the Honourable A. W. Fadden, M. P., Acting Prime Minister. Printed in blue on cream colored card stock, folded making 4 pages. Printed with Australian crest at the top of the front cover. Very slightly toned strip at outer edge. 5 x 8". Not found in Trove.
