1900 Embroidered Boer War shaving kit bag.
1900. Embroidered shaving kit bag, made of khaki cloth, with two crossed British flags and crown and the word "shaving" across the base of the flags. The cloth is folded once, with a fringed cloth for wiping the blade clean, and a stitched implement holder with 4 slots. The date "1900", and the initials "F G" are also embroidered on it. Likely dating from the Second Boer War, 1899 - 1902. Folded, 9 1/2 x 6 1/2" Very good condition. Item #20322
