Three-Decker Show Boat "Kalang" on Sydney Harbour.

Sydney: Ca. 1940. Postcard advertising this Sydney ferry, which was repurposed as a recreational boat after the Sydney Harbour Bridge was completed. The Kalang functioned as a show boat between 1938-42 and 1946-58, serving in New Guinea during the WWII. Printed postcard, sepia tint, split back, postally unused. Very good condition. Item #20704
