Louis Wain (1860 – 1939) was an English artist best known for his drawings of anthropomorphised cats. Edmund Payne (1863 - 1914) was an English comedian recognized for his comic roles in Edwardian musical comedies. Posted to a "Master Lance Kirby, Curry Rivell Vicarage, Taunton" with a 1902 cancellation. Message written in margins around the illustration. Very slightly rubbed corners, o/w very good.
