Australian Natives' Association, London Branch. First Annual Corroboree ... In Celebration of Australia's Foundation Day and in Honour of the Right Hon. Sir G. H. Reid ... Westminster 1916.

London: Printing Craft Ltd, 1916. A scarce souvenir program for the first annual corroboree held in England by the Australian Natives' Association, with many photographic images and one full page devoted to Gallipoli. The concert was held at Caxton Hall to celebrate Australia's Foundation Day on Wednesday, Jan 26th 1916. The ANA's motto was ‘Advance Australia’, and it was the first Australian Friendly Society.

The Gallipoli page with photographic portraits of Corpl. C. Bassett, Lieut. W. Dartnell, and the Right Hon. Andrew Fisher, the High Commissioner for Australia. This page also with image titled "Australian Gunners at Gallipoli" and "Australian Troops in the Lord Mayor's Show".

The program includes an, "Au Revoir to Sir G. H. Reid" who was Prime Minister of the Australian Commonwealth in 1904. Each page featuring 2 Anzac military personnel portraits at the top, and additional images such as the Anzac buffets, billiard room, music room, the V. C. reception at the Anzac buffet, the HMAS "Australia"; and a full page of A. N. A. officials portraits, including the president, A. H. O'Connor. The last page with a large image titled 'Anzac Buffet Helpers', with a check mark at the right edge, indicating that this program quite likely belonged to a Mrs. Dadd.

Printed brown illustrated wrappers; the illustration at front wrapper with Australian shield showing the continent and with the title, flanked by Anzac soldier on the left and standing kangaroo at the right. Staple bound. Front wrapper chipped upper right corner, short closed tear at top edge, and a vertical crease. Internally, the title and last page a bit marked. 4to, not paginated [8]. Not recorded in Trove but the Australian War Memorial holds a copy; not recorded on OCLC. Very good overall. Item #21979
