Seneca Ray Stoddard (1844–1917) was an American landscape photographer noted for his photographs the Adirondacks of New York. Stoddard was also a writer, poet, artist, naturalist and cartographer whose work popularized the region.
Previous owner name, Edward E. Hale October 1909 at front free end paper. 16mo, ix, 292 pp, illustrations, maps, portraits. Original printed green paper wrappers, with title in black in a rustic type font at the front wrapper. Wrappers a bit toned; internally, a very faint tide mark top edge of early pages.
