Scarce pamphlet with illustrated stiff printed paper wrappers, with color cover illustration, "Lake Champlain from Mount Defiance", the rear wrapper with official seal in color. "President Taft spoke to the crowds at Fort Ticonderoga, Plattsburg, and Burlington. A “great parade" was held in Burlington".

Tall 8vo (7 x 10"), 32pp, illustrated with sepia printed photographs, 2 color illustrations and a color fold out map of Lake Champlain region tipped in on rear end paper. The color fold out map showing the Hudson River from Albany to Fort Ticonderoga at the left, and from Fort Ticonderoga to Montreal at the right. With the locations and dates of the celebration indicated with red stars. Front wrapper a bit rubbed at edges, short diagonal split at bottom corner at spine; one quarter inch closed tear foredge of rear wrapper. Internally very good. Very good overall. Item #22175
