It includes a three quarter column printed report on the Queensland missions, and a woodblock engraving of Maryborough, Queensland, showing the harbor with vessels at the dock (p229). There is also material on missions throughout Australia, along with a woodblock of the Chiesa della Villa Maria in Sydney (p108).

Small folio, 3/4 black leather and brown cloth, marbled endpapers, 464pp, b&w woodblock engravings, 2 folding maps printed on thick wove paper of China (Carte du Kouy-Tcheou, Carte du Kiang-Nan). Spine edges rubbed, cloth covers rippled and marked. Interior clean, foredges toned, early pages chipped at edge not interfering with text. Good + overall. Item #22496
