New York: A. Newton Plummer, 1932. Limited edition. Hardcover. A post 1929 crash work, uncommon, and illustrated with cartoons caricaturing the "scandalous stock jamboree" of the time. One of two thousand copies, this copy is unnumbered. The author, a corporate publicist who played a part in falsely inflating stock values through a variety of publications and radio outlets, outlines "a few sensible rules" for reform in the New York Stock Exchange (Chap. XX) but wonders whether the institution will in fact reform. Chapter titles include phantom billions, jugglers and jigglers, financial follies, paid press, hired men, "golden wings" Gibson, "no bid" Boesel, Gillette razor's close shave, scalping Indian stockholders, etc.
