Also with an elegant cut glass ink stand for the letter "I", and a 1920s convertible for "M" is for motor car. Other illustrations include acorns, boat, cat, dog, engine (locomotive), fox, goose, hen, jar, lamb, net, ostrich, parrot, quail, rabbit, squirrel, turkey, umbrella, and zebra. Concludes with charming illustration of little girl pointing out letters she has learned from this book to her doll. All printed on 'linenette" paper.
Number 811 of the Linenette Series. 4to, [12]pp. Complete alphabet printed inside front and rear wrappers. Illustrated front wrapper, young blond boy coloring in the B in the title; two puppies sheltering under large black umbrella illustration at rear wrapper.
