Full page caricatures of great power by Dyson (1880 – 1938), who became an official Australian war artist at the front in WWI.

With a foreword by H. G. Wells, who chastises the German people, noting, "[l]oyalty to evil things is the revelation of a kindred evil. What business had you Germans with loyalty and obedience?" he [Dyson] would say. "Your business under this stuff was revolution."

Folio, title vignette, 20 full page tipped in illustrations, 3 text illustrations. Full page illustrations tipped on to heavier brown stock. Pictorial gray wrappers, with title printed in red.
