An unusual dinner menu of decidedly Western fare, with numbers assigned to dishes for ease of ordering, and to prevent misinterpretations of orders by Chinese staff. The entrees include boiled haddock, braised sheep's tongue, salmi of teal, chicken a la Chasseur, roast lamb or veal, various vegetables, and costing $1.50. "Gentlemen will kindly abstain from smoking until after 8 p.m." The "Wine List" on the verso includes Appetizers (including absinthe); Hocks; both red and white Bordeaux; Burgundies, Clarets, Italian Wines, Champagnes, Dessert Wines, Liquers, Beef and Ale, Brandies, Rum, Aerated & Mineral Water and Cigars & Cigarettes. Printed on card in black and red. 5.5 x 8.25", a bit foxed at margins and a little bumped. Good + overall. Item #22795
