A travel brochure for places of interest on the Si-Kiang (West River) between Canton and Wuchow (known as the Xi River, and the "Rhine of China"). "The main branch of the Xi River flows southeast through the Pearl River delta entering the South China Sea just west of Macao." (Wikiwand) With extensive photographic illustrations by author. With a reprinted review of this work from the Hong Kong Telegraph tipped in at inside rear wrapper.

Gray stiff illustrated wrappers, title printed in red and blue, illustration of tall pagoda at front wrapper. Small 8vo, 55pp text, pp 56-76 adverts, with many b&w printed photographs. Crease on lower right front cover reinforced on verso with archival tape with slight rippling at fold mark for first 38pp. Top right corner bumped.
