The plates, some folding, include: 6 plates of diagrams of crystalline structures including pyroxene, arragonite, apophyllite, "fer arsenical" and bismuth; geological formations in the valley of Clermont; blacksmith machinery; tools of the metallurgist; and diagram showing refraction of light.
