Interesting comments about the shrewdness of native races – countering the notion of their perceived status as the “lowest type of humanity” – as it relates to their spirituality. However, the author does seem to think the lighter skinned Maoris were more advanced than their darker counterparts in Australia. Leaf toured Australia and New Zealand lecturing on Psychic Science. Makes for an interesting read from an early 20th century anthropological / social perspective. Brown paper wraps; 16pp; measures 7 ¼” x 4 7/8”. Light toning around the edges of front and back covers.
