Sheffield, England: Ca. 1851. Wonderful straight razor in its original box. The blade is stamped "C.T. Bingham Late F. Fenney Tally Ho Sheffield" along with the image of a fox. It is 14/16" at the widest point. The blade is in near perfect condition, mirror like, with one small rust spot on the top edge. It is stub tailed with horn handles and has never been sharpened in perfect condition.
The box is stamped "Fenney's Warranted Tally-Ho Razor, Won the Prize Medal 1851". The box is 7" x 1 1/2", approximately 1/2" thick and shows only slight wear along the bottom edge of the top half. Very good overall. Item #23688
