London: c. 1921. One of Shackleton's later autographs on his letterhead paper. The Quest expedition left England 24 September 1921. This letter and the cancellation from the franked envelope is dated 26 April 1921. EHS died 22 January 1922 of a heart attack while on the Quest Expedition.

With franked stamp from the envelope pasted to the corner of the letterhead paper, which is signed, "Yours truly, E. H. Shackleton". Period folds, 7 x 4 3/4" in matted plexiglas frame 10 1/4 x 8 1/4" Very good condition. Item #23727
