Scarce large broadside caricature of a happy couple reunited, with the sailor Jack displaying the love poem written on the back of his tobacco box, proof of his devotion to his true love Nancy: “ If you loves I as I loves you, No pair so happy as we two.” Not found on OCLC; a copy recorded at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich (PAF3798).
John Fairburn (1789 - 1840) was a British map, chart and bookseller, and a publisher of inexpensive caricatures and popular prints.
