For example, the first program (June 30, 1928) with full page color ad for the "Bristol", a double spread map of the Hendon Aerodrome with diagram of the layout for the RAF display, and a diagram of aerobatics to be performed.
The Royal Air Force Display programs are the years 1928 to 1937. The Schneider Trophy Contest: Royal Aero Club Official Souvenir Programme are for the years 1929 (there is a center fold plan of the course, and a results table which has been completed in pencil, with Italy showing forced landings) and 1931. The Royal Review RAF Official Programme is for the year 1935.
Thick 8vo, each program approximately 75pp, profusely illustrated. Bound in dark blue buckram, with leather gilt title label laid down at spine; all edges have been blued to match. Previous owner signature, R. L. Copping (Letchworth), light scattered fox spotting to early pages, front wrapper 1932 issue slightly ruffled.
