Australia (horse drawn thresher); The Duck Billed Platypus (Strongest Living Animal); Sheep Drover Queensland; and Banana Growing W. Australia. The images used make the fold out look much older.
British children's story of Australia, narrated by a child whose uncle has just returned from a visit, and describing Melbourne, the Bush, sheep ranches, an old prospector, Christmas in Australia, beaches, kangaroos, emus, platypus, koala, and the Australian "blackfellow".
Opens to 3 panels, with cut outs on 2 panels, and text inside. Oblong folded sheet, 5pp. Color pictorial covers, with "Australian Blackfellow" and flag at front cover. 9 1/2 x 6 1/2". Trove 7318142 (1 copy) National Library of Australia.
