The Dykes' own garden was planted with over 30,000 tulips. The work includes detailed descriptions of each species and notes on cultivation.
Folio, 108 pp, 54 fine color plates, bibliography, index. In the publisher's original green gilt cloth, with gilt title at spine; corners and spine ends slightly rubbed. In the original printed dust jacket, dusty and chipped, but intact. Internally, signature "A. P.
