The space exploration stamps comprise 3 pages, approximately 34 stamps in total, and depict satellites, cosmonauts in training, space stations, and portraits of individual cosmonauts.
The album's stamps reflect the history, politics, economics and culture of the USSR. These include: Lenin stamps, fine art stamps, Olympic athletes (1980), railroads, navy ships, and foreign figureheads.
