Brochure promoting mining in Western Australia, with unsigned poster art of a mine head, with the first section on regulations for gold miners, followed by descriptions of the goldfields including Kimberley, Pilbara, Ashburton and Gascoyne, Peak Hill, Murchison and Mt. Margaret, Yalgoo, Yilgarn, North (East and North East) Coolgardie, and Dundas and Phillips River.

Printed b&w photographic illustrations include: Prospecting party on the Murchison (camel train); Dryblowing (Winnowing) gold, Pilbara; Gold Mine in the earliest stage, White Hope G. M., Hampton Plains; and the premier gold mine of the state- Great Boulder G. M., Kalgoorlie.

Tri-fold, 57 panels or 19pp folded, 4 x 9" opens to 12 x 9". 40 b&w printed photographs, color map dated 1929 of gold fields tipped in, statistical tables. Printed color pictorial wrappers, small brown spot in the sky in illustration at top of cover panel, that goes through to the second page; internally very good condition.
