West Point Hop card, Winter Hops 1904-1905.

Philadelphia: Elliott, 1904-1905. Hop card for the Winter Hops. The cover depicts an image of a young woman in fur on the front cover, her round portrait surrounded by icicles, with a cupid taking aim at her. The card belonged to "Miss Francis" and dated Oct. 8, 04. At this point, the dances were not printed, but she has carefully listed the 20 dances and the names of Misters Tipton, Graves, Prince, Doe, Hill, Hammond, Seagrave, Gillespie, Garey and Jenkins, with whom she dances twice each.

Black card with a gilt crest at the head, portrait in sepia. Approx. 2x3", tied with the original white cord, without the pencil which are rarely found with the cards. Very good condition. Item #24379
